Liosomadoras oncinus

Commonly referred to as the Jaguar Catfish! They originate from Ucayali, Amazonas and Negro river basins, Brazil, they may grow to reach up to 10″ so a 48″ long tank is required towards adulthood.

Temperature: 68-82°F (20-28°C)

pH: 4.8-7.2

Hardness: 0-15°H

This species would be well suited for a community south american biotope with other larger species.

They look similar to wood cats but unfortunately do not scale to the same size.
